Oti Mabuse has revealed that fans ask her questions about 'The Masked Dancer' while she is on the toilet.
The former 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional features as a panellist on the popular ITV series and revealed that people will stop at nothing to find out who the famous faces behind the costumes are.
Oti, 32, is quoted by the Daily Star Sunday newspaper as saying: "There are times when I'm in the bathroom and I get a knock on the wall and someone saying, 'Who is Scissors?'
"I'm like, 'OK, bye'. It happens everywhere I go. The first question I get is, 'Who is this person?'"
Oti continued: "Sometimes I'm sitting in a black cab and the driver will say, 'Who's Dog?' I'm thinking, 'I didn't expect you to be someone who watches the show, but I love it.'"
Mabuse's fellow panellist Davina McCall also revealed that she gets grilled about the show by her family.
She said: "My kids thumbscrew every week. It's so hard not to give away even the gender of the celebrity. I'm going, 'Don't talk to me anymore'. I have to walk away."
Meanwhile, Oti's series 'Romeo and Duet' was recently axed by ITV after just one series.
An spokesman for the channel said: "We have no plans for future series of 'Roman and Duet' at present.
"But we look forward to working with Oti again on 'The Masked Dancer' later this year and are actively discussing other projects going forward."
ITV bosses believe that the cancellation of 'Romeo and Duet' "isn't a reflection on Oti in any way".
A source said: "The feeling was that it wasn't a case of Oti not being right for the show, more than the show wasn't right for Oti.
"So many of our biggest hosts have had to suffer a few bumps in the road at the start of their career, and that's how this is viewed by execs.
"They're confident that this isn't a reflection on Oti in any way and she's still a figure who is much loved by the public."
