Oti Mabuse will present a new weekend chat show.
The ‘Dancing on Ice’ judge, 32, is said to be viewed as one of "ITV’s golden girls” - despite her show ‘Romeo and Duet’ lasting just one season - and has been tipped to front a new morning show on Saturdays, with ex ‘Love Island’ host Laura Whitmore taking the reins on Sundays.
It is expected to begin in spring this year on ITV1 and ITVX.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “Oti is still considered one of ITV’s golden girls and bosses are delighted with her as a judge on 'Dancing On Ice', so they’re sure she’ll be a hit.”
Katie Piper will also be back for another season of her Sunday morning show, ‘Katie Piper’s Breakfast Show’.
Katie Rawcliffe, ITV and ITVX’s head of Entertainment Commissioning, said: "In Katie, Oti and Laura we have three dynamic, engaging broadcasters who bring energy and flair to our weekend schedules. Each of their shows will give viewers that perfect weekend wake up call."
Executive producer Amanda Ross added: "We are looking forward to a summer of fun with these three wonderful women driving weekend mornings.
"Their very different personalities give each series a unique flavour, a treat for the viewers and the team!"
In June, Oti’s dating show ‘Romeo and Duet’ - which aimed to show the power of your pipes when it comes to finding love - was axed.
Another source said: “This will be gut-wrenching for Oti as it was her first solo presenting gig since quitting 'Strictly' to pursue new opportunities.
"Expectations were high for the programme as she is immensely popular with the public and 'Romeo and Duet' was given a prime-time slot.
“Rubbing salt in the wound is the fact that the series hasn’t even finished - the final episode airs this Saturday.”
