Oti Mabuse admits she wants to "grow" in her career as she addresses her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ future.
The 31-year-old star - who is best known as a professional dancer on the hit BBC show - has responded to speculation over her future after signing up as a judge on ITV's 'Dancing On Ice', while she's also set to front new musical matchmaking show 'Romeo & Duet' and has enjoyed roles on the likes of 'The Masked Dancer'.
As quoted by Digital Spy, she said: "There will be an announcement that will be made later but I think for me, as a person in entertainment, I really want to learn and I want to grow and I want a long career, especially in this country, like I moved all the way from Africa!
"So I have to make something of myself. So I'm really trying to learn and do as much as I can, for as long as I can, while I can."
Oti, who is the younger sister of ‘Strictly’ judge Motsi Mabuse, admitted she regularly leans on her sibling for advice and support.
She added: "So we're really close, my sis and I, and what we know from sharing a mom and dad is that we're quite loud and we literally are so bubbly, and her advice to me was just to be myself,
"I think everyone from the BBC who literally congratulated me and said the same thing. Just be yourself, be honest.
"Say what you see and say what you feel and say how you kind of hope they would improve and how they can better themselves because at the end of the day, it's about the celeb.
"It's about the show and it's about helping them get better to actually win."
‘Dancing On Ice’ will return to ITV this Sunday (16.01.22).
