'The Osbournes' reboot has been scrapped.
The reality show based on the lives of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and their children Kelly and Jack originally aired on MTV between 2002 and 2005, but was due to return this on VH1 later this year to show how the family have changed 10 years since they were last on screen.
However, the channel's executive VP of original programming and production, Susan Levison, revealed the programme will no longer be going ahead, despite the family's eagerness to revive the show.
She told the Hollywood Reporter: "We are no longer talking to the Osbournes about a series; that's not going to happen.
"We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn't come together for us. The family has been absolutely lovely and we wish them the best. We'd love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future."
Family matriarch Sharon, 62, revealed plans to bring back the popular programme in November, admitting her and Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy were keen to display their lives together since Ozzy became sober.
She said at the time: "Ozzy's decided he wants to do another few episodes, about eight, of 'The Osbournes'.
"It's been 13 years since we first did it.
"He said for the three years we did he was drunk the whole time and he'd like to be sober."
