In perhaps the strangest featurette we’ve ever seen, Taystee (Danielle Brooks) and Poussey (Samira Wiley) enjoy a drink back in the 1980s while dancing to ‘Heaven Is A Place On Earth’, as the former visits her late friend in a dream. You can check out the clip below:
Though we know Poussey won’t be making her way back to Litchfield for the fifth season of Orange is the New Black, it’s great to see the actress and character having fun with her old friend. When she awakes however, Taystee realises she’s still cooped up in the prison, but she and her fellow prisoners have had quite enough of allowing prison authority run rampant and crazed with power.
From Jenji Kohan and based on the best-selling memoir of the same name by Piper Kerman, the fifth season of Orange will delve into the economic and racial tensions running deep throughout Litchfield. With new inmates overrunning the prison and inexperienced guards expected to keep things in order, an unprecedented culture war is right around the corner.
Orange is the New Black seasons 1-4 are available now on Netflix, with season 5 set to debut in June.
