The 24-year-old actress stars in ITV's upcoming mini-series 'Vanity Fair' as a witty, calculating anti-hero, and ahead of the first episode being aired, Olivia has revealed what drew her to the character of Becky Sharp.

She shared: "She's elastic. She just bounces back.

"It was really wonderful to play a woman who does that, because I feel like women are really durable and tough, but sometimes it's not presented that way on film and TV."

Olivia is eager to play more roles of a similar nature in the future and for that reason, she's confident that ageing will actually benefit her career.

She told the Independent newspaper: "I'm quite excited to get into my 30s. I'm 24, so I'm on that cusp of playing late teenage roles. I'm excited to age a little bit and play a woman."

Meanwhile, Olivia feels that the #MeToo movement has prompted a discernible culture change on TV and film sets.

Olivia said she doesn't expect her male co-stars to suddenly become stand-offish, but nor does she want them to behave like a "d**k".

The actress - who starred in the Steven Spielberg-directed movie 'Ready Player One' earlier this year - explained: "I think people are just reminding themselves to be a bit conscientious.

"I mean, they don't need to not speak to us - just don't be gross and don't be a d**k. It's dead easy."
