Olivia and Alex Bowen used to go to a different hotel each month for some "private time" before lockdown intervened.
The former 'Love Island' co-stars - who are the first couple to marry after meeting on the dating show - used to love a regular little getaway for some fun, before the dreaded coronavirus pandemic got in the way.
Speaking in a Q&A for Lovehoney's Mind Blowing Valentine’s campaign, Olivia said: "Before lockdown we would go to a different hotel every month. I would pick it one month and Alex the next. It’s a nice little getaway - private time.
"Home feels like a workplace, so it's nice to get away.
"Some of the hotels are really sexy, some are cute, some are romantic."
Alex added: "We take it in turns so we've both got something to look forward to."
The couple keep the passion burning in their relationship by taking on the mindset of when they first met on the ITV2 dating show five years ago.
Olivia, 27, said: "You both need to imagine those early milestones in the relationship. The first time you saw them, the first kiss and the first time you had sex.
"Cherish those memories and try to recreate the excitement you both felt."
They are planning to spice things up on Valentine's Day (14.12.21) with Lovehoney’s Kinky Confessions Truth or Dare Card Game, which helps couples to find out more about what their partner prefers in the bedroom.
And Alex, 29, has picked out Olivia’s Valentine’s lingerie ahead of February 14th, a Captivate Black and Gold Basque from the new official 'Fifty Shades of Grey' range, exclusive to Lovehoney, which has been created with author E L James to celebrate the erotic books' 10th anniversary this year.
While the pair - who finished as runners-up in the second series of 'Love Island' in 2016 and wed two years later - have been enjoying plenty of fun in the bedroom, they have put their baby plans on hold because of lockdown.
Olivia said: "We will just have to wait and see how things go. We were thinking about having kids soon and we would love to start a family, but we are really busy with our careers at present.
"My show, 'Second Chance Dresses', has been pushed back which means I am going to be away a lot in New York after lockdown.
"I have recently purchased a horse, so that’s put a spanner in the works, too."
Olivia and Alex still feel "grateful" to the ITV2 dating show, and he is "just as excited" to see her every day as he was when he first set eyes on her in the villa.
She said: "I think we are proof that reality TV romances can work.
"We are so thrilled that 'Love Island' gave us both the chance to find love."
Olivia and Alex are working with sexual wellness brand Lovehoney on its Mind Blowing Valentine’s campaign.
