Ola Jordan is "nervous" about being on 'Strictly Come Dancing' without her husband.
The dancer's spouse James Jordan has been axed from the professional line up of the talent show and though Ola is "excited" about having a different experience without him, she will miss his protection.
She said: "I feel very strange and a little nervous. But it is excited nervous. It's going to be very different, but I'm looking forward to it.
"He was like a protective blanket so I will definitely miss him being there. I was always a shy and timid person, but I feel strong now."
Ola admits her first reaction when she heard James was leave was to quit too, but her spouse told her to stay.
She said: "I have massive respect for James. We went on the show together and I always thought we would leave it together. I was prepared not to return, but James said, 'Just do it, it will be a different experience for you.' "
Ola is "very sad" about Sir Bruce Forsyth's departure as co-host on the show, but is looking forward to seeing his replacement Claudia Winkleman working with Tess Daly.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I'm very sad about it. Bruce was a gentleman and always had time to have a chat with me. I will miss him a lot.
"It will be very interesting [with Claudia and Tess]. I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen. They are two women but are so different - anything could happen."
