AJ Odudu has suffered an injury scare just days before the 'Strictly Come Dancing' final.
The 33-year-old TV presenter is reportedly on crutches and missed training on Tuesday (14.12.21) after experiencing severe pain in her foot and required an emergency scan.
AJ and her professional partner Kai Widdington are due to take part in Saturday's (18.12.21) final alongside 'EastEnders' star Rose Ayling-Ellis and her partner Giovanni Pernice as well as former 'Great British Bake Off' winner John Whaite and his partner Johannes Radebe.
A 'Strictly' insider has revealed that show bosses are hopeful that AJ will be fit for the finale of the BBC One ballroom contest and is currently trying to rest her foot.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "This is the worst possible timing but AJ is a real trooper and will keep going no matter what. The pain in her foot was terrible."
The presenter recently quipped that her "direct messages are dry" since she started competing on 'Strictly', which has shocked her.
AJ told The Sun newspaper: "Oh my gosh, my director messages are dry. I've not had one direct message from a potential suitor, that is not happening."
The star also heaped praise on her partner Kai, 26, and insisted that he will "be in (her) life forever".
AJ said: "Kai's funny, he's kind, he's patient and he's going to be in my life forever. We just have the best time.
"He's a family man, he's someone who takes care of his family, his friends. He's a real gentleman. He really, really is.
"And I think that's what's beautiful about him as well. I feel like we share the same ethics, in the same way that I'm speaking to my mum before the show, he's got his mum and dad on FaceTime and his granddad before the show, his brother."
