The National Television Awards (NTAs) have announced four new categories for 2016.
The annual awards ceremony - which will be hosted by Dermot O'Leary - will see the introduction of the International category to acknowledge popular shows around the world and the New Drama accolade to celebrate gripping home-grown tales.
For the first time, presenters of factual shows will go head-to-head for the TV Presenter gong and daytime programmes such as 'BBC Breakfast', 'Lorraine' and 'Loose Women' will compete to win the Live Magazine Show award.
The event will be held on January 20 2016 at The O2 in London and will feature 15 categories in total, which can be voted for by the general public through the NTAs' website.
Avid TV fans are also being encouraged to have their say on the TV Moment of the Year by voting through the website, with the top clips being shown throughout the evening to celebrate the best in British and international television.
The 2015 ceremony saw 'The X Factor' pick up the Talent Show award while 'EastEnders' won in the Serial Drama category.
The soap was the big winner on the night, with actress Maddy Hill who plays Nancy Carter in the soap winning the Newcomer prize while Mick Carter actor Danny Dyer won the Serial Drama Performance gong.
