Nikki Grahame's cause of death has been confirmed as anorexia.
A doctor has recorded the cause of the late 'Big Brother' star's passing as anorexia nervosa, an eating disorder characterised by weight loss, so an inquest will not be required.
Nikki died last month aged 38 following a long battle with the eating disorder, and her death has sparked a "full internal investigation" at Dorset County Hospital, where she spent three weeks.
A spokeswoman for Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust recently said: "Staff at the Trust were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Miss Grahame, and our thoughts are with the family and friends of Miss Grahame at this very difficult time.
"A full internal investigation into the circumstances of Miss Grahame’s death is currently underway. This is in line with standard procedures following any sudden death.
"All information and findings arising from this investigation will be shared confidentially with Miss Grahame’s family, and thereafter with the Coroner as part of any Coronial process.
"The Trust will do everything it can to assist the Coroner in any ongoing Coronial process."
On April 28th, several of Nikki's famous friends took to social media to pay tribute to the late star on what would've been her 39th birthday.
Imogen Thomas - who appeared alongside Nikki in the seventh series of 'Big Brother' in 2006 - posted a collage of pictures of the pair, and she wrote: "Happy birthday my angel. I hope your having a ball sipping espresso martinis singing and dancing to eastside. I feel blessed to have had you as a friend and I will cherish our memories. Thank you. May your spirit shine forever. Miss you and love u always Nik (sic)"
Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace - who also starred in Big Brother's seventh series - admitted she misses Nikki "dearly".
She wrote: "Happy birthday baby girl, too precious and delicate for this cold harsh world, so much vibrance & kindness in one, I know your in a better place still having fun... death is only painful for those of us left, as we miss you and wish you was still here with us, I believe you, and all lost loved ones are in a better place, a kinder more peaceful place... until we meet again, I will miss you.... dearly. I love you darling. (sic)"
Nikki's ex and former co-star Pete Bennett - who won 'Big Brother 7' - shared a portrait of his late former flame.
He added the caption: "Beautiful portrait by @mynamesash
Happy birthday Nikki xXx (sic)"
