Nigella Lawson doesn't want a penny of Charles Saatchi's £135 million fortune.

The TV chef - who split from the art collector last month - wants the divorce to be "swift and amicable" so has promised she won't force him to sell off his collection of weird modern art and has vowed not to touch any of his money.

A statement yesterday said: "A divorce will proceed on the undefended basis, the decree nisi is to be pronounced on 31 July, and neither party will be making any financial claims against the other."

The pair - who have been married for ten years - have made the decision to legally end their marriage quickly in a bid to prevent their private life from being leaked to the public and have negotiated a settlement through Nigella's lawyer, Fiona Shackleton.

The couple - thought to have signed a pre-nuptial agreement prior to their wedding in 2003 - have agreed not to publically disclose the terms of their divorce or their financial settlements after lodging divorce papers at the High Court last week.

Charles accepted a police caution last month after photographs emerged of him grabbing Nigella around the throat during a heated argument outside a London restaurant.

Two weeks later, removal men were spotted taking away the brunette beauty's belongings from the £12 million mansion she shares with Charles in London.
