Nigel Farage will have to avoid "anything to do with weightlifting" during his time on 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'
The 59-year-old former politician is one of the famous faces heading into the jungle for this year's edition of the ITV1 survival show but explained that when it comes to challenges or Bushtucker Trials, he will not be up for anything that could be too strenuous because he is a "little bit damaged" in some areas.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Well, anything involving weightlifting, I'd be out because I've obviously had some quite serious physical injuries and neck reconstructions and goodness knows what else.
"So they are fully aware that I'm a little bit damaged when it comes to bodily structure. But having said that, I can still do most things."
However, the former UKIP leader does not seem too worried about surviving weeks in the outback with a slew of other celebrities as he noted that the Bushtucker Trials are "unlikely to kill" him and vowed to do his best throughout the process.
He said: "I'll just do my best. It's all I can do. I doubt that any of the trials are actually going to kill me, although I don't think they'll all be a bag of fun.
"But hey look, I signed up for this. It's in for a penny in for a pound. So let's go!"
Nigel will be joined by Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn Spears, 'This Morning' host Josie Gibson, 38, 'First Dates' star Fred Sirieix, JLS singer Marvin Humes, and NTA Award-winning 'EastEnders' actress Danielle Harold, 31, on the show.
Meanwhile, food critic Grace Dent admitted she is "filled with dread" at the thought of surviving in the jungle as she joked that her ideal campmate would be the "practical" Queen Camilla and 'Hollyoaks' star Nick Pickard - who is the soap's longest-serving cast member - admitted that he is a "bit scared of the dark" but jumped at the "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity when it presented itself.
'Made in Chelsea' Sam Thompson star will also be heading into the jungle and has already vowed to do the "cooking and the cleaning" for his fellow campers, whilst YouTuber Nella Rose is determined to "keep the morale" high in the jungle.
'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' starts on ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday 19 November at 9pm.
