Nicole Scherzinger admits that the recent robbery of Kim Kardashian West has served as a "wake-up call for everyone".
The 'X Factor' judge was upset by news that Kim was robbed at gunpoint by masked thieves in Paris, France, and Nicole has confessed the incident has reminded her of the potential dangers of fame.
She shared: "It's a reality check, it's a wake-up call. I was upset when I heard because Kim's my friend. I only care about her wellbeing and the kids' wellbeing as anybody would.
"I've had stalkers. I thought I would be safe but I had people stalking me from the show.
"People who are just not right in the mind. You never know so you have to be well aware. It's a wake-up call for everyone."
Meanwhile, Nicole's 'X Factor' co-star Simon Cowell has advised celebrities to curb their social media posts in light of the robbery in France.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I think it's always good to communicate with your fans but try not to be impulsive. Christ, you've got to be careful.
"There are a lot of people out there who just want to write negative things. So don't empower them and don't read them."
Simon, who has a two-year-old son, Eric, with socialite Lauren Silverman, was the victim of a robbery last year when thieves broke into his London mansion.
