Nicole Scherzinger wants to help 'X Factor' runner-up Jahmene Douglas improve his love life.
The 'X Factor' judge was his mentor last year and he has admitted she has been trying to help him end his long run without a date.
He told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Nicole went through a phase of trying to find me someone.
"I was like, 'No, Nicole'. For me dating is a weird thing because you're going with a stranger to eat.
"I like to know someone for a while before. That way you know about their annoying habits. If a relationship happens, it happens."
The 22-year-old singer admitted his private life is "lonely" because women don't see him as a potential love interest - and he's sick of wasting meals for two.
He added: "All the recipes are for two people. But I've got no one to share with.
"I need someone ... If I have a personal life it's a lonely one. I haven't dated at all.
"Dating? What is that word? No one's interested in me. I'm the cute one from 'X Factor'. it is everyone else getting the attention."
