Nicola Adams wants to return to 'Strictly Come Dancing' because her exit "wasn't fair".
The 38-year-old former boxer was forced to depart the BBC Latin and ballroom show last year when her pro partner Katya Jones tested positive for coronavirus, but she would like another go because has unfinished business on the series.
When asked if she is allowed to come back [next series], she said: "I don't know, but I'd love to.
"Just because of the way that I went out - it wasn't fair."
Nicola and Katya made history as the first same-sex pairing on the programme, and the Olympian admitted she struggled to point her toes when she first learnt the routines and needed as much time as possible, initially, to get to grips with the dances.
Speaking on 'Lorraine', she added: "It was a complete contrast going from boxing to dancing.
"Even struggling to point my toes after every move was a struggle.
"Learning the routine on the Monday and you've got to perform it on the Saturday.
"In the first week I was like, 'Cancel everything.' "
Nicola previously admitted she would've preferred to have been booted out of the show after a dance-off than gone out the way she and Katya did.
She said: "Katya got COVID and then that was it, we were out of the show.
"I was absolutely gutted. Being a fighter, I’d have preferred to have gone out on my shield, in a dance off. How I never caught the virus I have no idea."
Quizzed on whether she could've made it to the final had the virus not intervened, she adds: "Ah yeah, [of] course. I’m a champ."
