New episodes of 'Gogglebox' will premiere on September 11.
The popular Channel 4 series will return to the air in just over a month's time, after new episodes were filmed amid the coronavirus lockdown.
'Gogglebox' boss Tania Alexander wrote on Twitter: "Huge THANK YOU for your kind messages re #Gogglebox and #CelebrityGogglebox. It really wasn't easy getting this show to air every week during lockdown but ur support made it ALL worth it. Big shout out to the cast from both shows [love heart emoji] AND my amazing team. See y'all on Sept 11th [love heart emoji] (sic)"
On-screen stars and the show's production team have been forced to follow strict government guidelines amid the coronavirus crisis.
Meanwhile, Shaun Ryder recently slammed TV viewers who criticised him for joking about drugs on 'Celebrity Gogglebox'.
The 57-year-old music star hit back at his critics, after Ofcom received more than 200 complaints about Shaun and Bez's drugs references while watching the gangster movie 'Scarface'.
Shaun said: "We were being shown 'Scarface', a film where he's talking about taking huge amounts of drugs. So I'll talk about sailing, shall I?
"We did absolutely nothing wrong. Do we not have free speech in this country? Or is that just in America?"
Shaun also came under fire after Bez travelled to his house to film the first episodes of 'Celebrity Googlebox' during the lockdown.
But the musician insisted they stuck to social distancing guidelines, and that the criticism was completely unfounded.
He said: "That was funny. People were saying 'Shaun and Bez don't live together', there this big outcry. I was like 'Oh come on, What a bunch of nutters!'
"All the social distancing rules were followed. The leads and cameras were fed through the window, the crew that set it up came in my house looking like a nuclear experiment."
