Netflix today (October 31st, 2019) dropped the first official full-length trailer for their upcoming original series The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill, and based on the book series and video game series of the same name. And yes, it includes that famous bath scene in which Geralt (Cavill) enjoys a hot soak away from the chaos, if just for a few minutes; he's a protagonist that is allowed some down-time - a rare thing in pop culture!

Fans at Lucca Comics and Games convention in Lucca, Italy were the first to feast their eyes on the new main trailer, when showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich unveiled the footage during a panel discussion with cast members Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan, who play Yennefer and Ciri respectively.
The Witcher is at its heart a story of fate and family, and the show is set to follow the intertwined destinies of three individuals living in a world where humans, elves, witchers, gnomes and monsters do battle in order to survive. There, the line between good and evil is blurred like never before.
Confirmation came at the close of the teaser, that all eight episodes of the series will debut exclusively on Netflix before the end of the year, on December 20th, 2019.
Keep your eyes peeled for more news surrounding The Witcher in the weeks to come before that release.
