Natalie Dean had already "given up" when she was fired by Lord Alan Sugar on 'The Apprentice'.
The 25-year-old telecoms account manager - who became the fifth candidate to be sent home during last night's (04.11.15) episode - has confessed she knew as soon as she was called back into the boardroom by project manager Sam Curry that she would be given the sack.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I was already pretty convinced going into the boardroom that I was going to get fired so I think I was a bit dejected and had kind of given up to some extent and I felt horrendous. I think I was a bit like, 'Just fire me now'."
However, despite admitting she knew she was going to be sent home, Natalie has insisted she didn't deserve to be fired for her performance in the last task alone.
She said: "I think based on the fact I sold less than any one else on the second day on that task, yes [I should have been fired], but I don't think I should really overall, over the five weeks be fired for sales because in week one and week four I actually sold more than anyone else in my sub-team and so Lord Sugar had already seen I could sell so I don't think it was a valid reason to fire me."
'The Apprentice' continues next Wednesday (11.11.15) at 9pm on BBC One.
