While the 'EastEnders' actress admitted there is "nothing major" wrong with her dad and that he is "as strong as an ox", it made her think of a time when he will not be around.

She wrote on Instagram: "Last few days have been a bit of a challenge. Daddy hasn’t been very well, nothing major, but it makes you realise they aren’t going to be around forever. Losing mum young means we are so close, In my head I feel he is always going to be this age, living with me and being a bit grumpy at times. But we know that’s not true. He’s as strong as an Ox, so I’m hoping he will be around for a lot longer. Losing people is such a hard part of our lives, no matter what age they are or how they pass. Here’s to everyone who has lost someone special, who are still going, who some days may not feel like it’s worth it, and other days laugh and joke like the rest of em. (sic)"

But the Sonia Fowler star has encouraged her fans to "enjoy" their lives because that's what anyone who people have lost would want.

She added: "We have good days, bad days, in between days. But you get on and enjoy your life, because that’s what they would want us to do. Happy Tuesday. #keepgoing #tuesdaymotivation #laugh (sic)"

Last Friday (16.10.20), Natalie advised her fans to try to get a good night's sleep "a couple of times a week, at least" and to do things that make them "happy" to "boost [their] mood".

She wrote: "Feeling good today. Sometimes you just wake up and jump out of bed and get on with stuff. In these times we need to really keep on top of our moods. Speak to your friends. Have a laugh. Get a good night’s sleep a couple of times a week, at least. Eat something nice. Sweat. Do things that make you happy. Happy Friday. #friday #happiness #boostyourmood #bekindtoyourmind (sic)"
