Nadiya Hussain feels more confident than ever.
The 38-year-old star has enjoyed a successful TV career since winning 'The Great British Bake Off' in 2015, and Nadiya has admitted that she's finally found the confidence to say "no" to people.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, she explained: "One thing I was told not long ago is that no is a full sentence. You should be able to say no without explanation. I live by that now. If I say no, I don’t owe anyone an explanation. I can just say no."
Nadiya - who has Musa, 17, Dawud, 16, and Maryam, 13, with her husband Abdal - actually doesn't feel any guilt about saying "no" these days.
She shared: "It’s very important, especially as a woman in this industry and especially for my children as they’re growing up navigating this world, to understand that they can say no without explanation and that is OK."
Nadiya has become a well-known TV presenter since winning the 'Bake Off' and she's now feeling more confident than ever before.
The TV chef has actually come to recognise that she's "good at [her] job" - after years of questioning her own ability.
Reflecting on her TV career, Nadiya said: "I have a very different mindset now where I do believe that I’m good at my job.
"The camera does not faze me one bit. I love, love, love what I do. I’m perfectly happy to be alone in front of the camera and don’t feel scared and daunted any more. It’s helped grow my confidence."
