Nadine Mulkerrin and Rory Douglas-Speed are yet to start planning their nuptials and may even "settle for [their] TV wedding", after so many of their friends had to axe marriage plans due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 'Hollyoaks' co-stars got engaged in December 2018, just weeks after they filmed their characters' Cleo McQueen and Joel Dexter's nuptials, and Nadine has admitted the pair will probably marry on a beach or settle for their fictional big day.
When asked in an Instagram Q&A if she has started wedding planning, Nadine replied: "Nope!! Thank god now as I know so many people who've been forced to cancel!
"We'll probably go away and just do it on a beach somewhere or settle for our tv wedding! (sic)"
The couple met on the 'Hollyoaks' set, and Nadine admitted she was first attracted to "cute" Rory when he was wearing Joel's priest outfit, and the pair spent quality alone time together when she would give him lifts.
She wrote: "He's gonna kill me for this... he was so cute in his priest costume with his blonde hair and little goaty.
"Before he hit the gym he was all skinny and I used to take him to work before he could drive.
"He's the best (sic)"
Rory and Nadine now have a house and 15-month-old son Reggie together, but they are currently living at their former 'Oaks' co-star Daisy Wood Davis' pad while their home undergoes renovations.
Quizzed on how the new house is coming along, Nadine wrote: "We're getting there! We're having some work done at the moment so currently stay at @daisy_wood_davis gaff.
"What good friends we have! (sic)"
