Nadine Mulkerrin is pregnant.
The 'Hollyoaks' actress - who plays Cleo McQueen on the soap - and her fiance, co-star Rory Douglas-Speed, announced over the weekend they are expecting their second child together and it seems their two-year-old son Reggie isn't particularly thrilled by the news.
Nadine shared a photo of Reggie clutching her baby scan to Instagram and jokingly captioned her post: "This better not be my only gift mum."
And Rory, who plays Joel Dexter, shared a video of the toddler throwing the scan photo on the floor before stamping on it.
He wrote: "Well. Here we go again.... I think Reggie is warming to the idea of having a little brother or sister."
The couple's friends and co-stars were quick to offer their congratulations.
Rishi Nair, who recently left his role as Sami Malik, commented: "So excited to meet baby number two [heart emoji]. Reggies reaction had me in stitches [laughing faces]"
Parry Glasspool, who played Harry Thompson, exclaimed: "Whaaaaat!? Holy crumbs, CONGRATS!!! (sic)"
Amy Conachan, Jennifer Metcalfe, Billy Price, Jessamy Stoddart, and Sarah Jayne Dunn all left heart emojis, while Adam Woodward (Brody Hudson) wrote: "Congrats guys."
Nadine previously admitted she was grateful for the coronavirus lockdown because it meant Rory was at home for a lot of her maternity leave and was able to build a "beautiful bond" with their little boy.
She said: "Rory and Reggie have such a beautiful bond - Reggie's a proper daddy's boy.
"If Rory had been working flat-out at 'Hollyoaks', we never would have had that time as a family.
"It's great to have been a team, and for me to have had that support throughout the first year of Reggie's life."
She jokingly added: "If it had been just me and Reggie, I might have lost the plot."
