The 'This Morning' puppy has been named Clover.
Presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby yesterday (02.09.15) announced the shortlist of names that had been selected for the ITV show's resident guide dog in training and they've now revealed viewers have chosen to name her Clover.
Speaking on today's (03.09.15) show, Philip said: "We've had over 30,000 votes and we've got a sign writer poised to write her new name on her brand new dog house."
Holly added: "So, will this gorgeous little puppy ... Will you be Clover, Cassie, Coco, Cleo or Cookie?
"Can I have a drum-roll please? And the winner is ... It's Clover!"
Viewers had been asked to choose a moniker that had one or two syllables and that did not sound like a command used for training, in line with Guide Dogs rules on naming puppies.
The announcement comes after Holly and Phil admitted Clover was their favourite out of the five choices that had been selected.
Holly said at the time: "Are we allowed to say our favourite?"
Phil agreed, sharing: "We do have a favourite out of them. Can we say it?
"We like Clover best."
Holly then added: "Clover and a close number two, Coco. Those are the favourites but listen, don't let that sway you."
