The former 'Love Island' star and influencer - who was the victim of a home break-in earlier this year - admitted the ordeal has changed her stance on social media, and she is determined not to "over-share" with her followers.

Appearing on the 'Diary of A CEO' podcast, she said: "I love sharing everything, but if it's going to compromise my safety I can't.

"I'm trying to work on this new balance of sharing but not over-sharing. I can't have anybody knowing where I live, even food delivery firms. It's not safe.

"It takes one wrong person to know where you live. It's not a positive thing what happened, but maybe it needed to happen in order to make me learn how I need to be now.

"I can't just be that normal girl who is blase and posts everything on her socials."

Last month, the 22-year-old star emotionally addressed the burglary at her and Tommy Fury's Manchester flat as she admitted it was the "worst thing" that's ever happened to her.

In a YouTube video, she said: "Tommy and I were actually robbed. It was without doubt the worst thing that's ever happened to me – to us I'd probably say – and it was just awful, horrendous, terrible. So we've been dealing with a lot.

"Our apartment was robbed, ransacked, emptied, you name it. What they said in the articles was true, they took everything. We were left with not a lot of stuff at all."

Molly – who has since moved out of the flat with boyfriend Tommy – explained that she had felt a sense of guilt after the burglary as she feels partly responsible for sharing her life on social media.

She explained: "I never thought if I was ever to be robbed I'd be feeling guilty.

"But I think seeing a lot of the things on social media and seeing a lot of people's opinions about why we got robbed I started to think, 'God was this my fault? Did I share too much? Did I do the wrong thing?' "
