Mollie Gallagher is hoping for a longterm future on 'Coronation Street'.
The actress joined soap in November 2019 as Nina, the niece of Roy Cropper, and says she has no plans to leave the ITV show.
She told TV Times: "I'd love to stay on the cobbles as long as they want me. I just hope Nina remains quirky. I would love to see her be successful with her fashion designing. It would be great for someone to say 'I like that dress!' and the other person say 'Oh, it's Nina's line!'"
However, Nina is going through a tough time right now following the murder of her boyfriend Seb in a hate crime attack.
Mollie said: "She normally knows how to deal with situations, but, for the first time, she doesn't know what to do. I hope she can be happy again, but it's tricky. I think if Seb hadn't died, he and Nina would've been together forever. It's hard to see her with anyone else.
"When I found out about the hate-crime storyline, I was nervous – this happens in real life so you feel a responsibility to get it right. Also, I knew there were going to be some really emotional scenes and you worry, 'Will I be in the zone?'"
