Mick Innes has died aged 67.

The 'Home and Away' star - who played Rod in the iconic soap series - passed away at his home in Christchurch, New Zealand over the weekend after a lengthy battle with a lung condition.
Roberto Nascimento, a friend of Mick's, revealed he had been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was admitted to hospital, but he wanted to be at home with his family.
Roberto told Stuff.co.nz: "I think he always fought to the end ... The doctor could tell he was getting tired, his breathing was laborious, and he did not want to end up in hospital. When he passed, he was surrounded by family, he was in his mother's arms. She was there till the end and she is a very resilient woman. He was proud to be sober to see his grandchildren grow up. He was working to make amends with people he felt he had to. He was a complicated, but a very interesting and lovable man."
Since the news of his untimely passing, tributes have flooded in for Mick.
Karen Kay Management Ltd said in a statement: "We have sadly lost a precious friend and client. Mick Innes was a loyal and generous person and accomplished actor. We will miss him dearly. Mick was a joy to be around and made such an impact on all those around him. Memories of him will live on forever. You're a legend, Mick. Thank you for all the good times. Our hearts go out to Mick's family and friends."
Innes starred in a number of television shows and live theatre productions over the years, including his own show, Zen Dog: Hazy Recollections from the Life of Mick Innes.
