Michelle Keegan has hopes of starring in a comedy series.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress hasn't figured out her next career move after leaving the ITV soap last month, but says her dream is to act in a more light-hearted show because playing Tina McIntyre provided her with enough drama to last a lifetime.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I haven't had a chance to stop and think. It's been a total whirlwind. Obviously doing [my new Lipsy] fashion collection is a dream of mine and I want to continue acting. I'd love to do a comedy series.
"When I was in 'Coronation Street' it was quite drama heavy with lots of crying, but I loved doing the comedy scenes with Steve McDonald."
Michelle - who is set to tie the knot with former 'The Only Way is Essex' hunk Mark Wright - hasn't ruled out trying her luck in Hollywood, either.
She said: "I wouldn't mind giving it a go, so I can never look back and think, what if? It doesn't intimidate me, though - I'd like to at least say I tried."
