Michelle Keegan's 'Coronation Street' exit will leave viewers needing "a cold shower" because of a raunchy affair.
The soap's executive producer Stuart Blackburn has said her farewell storyline will feature some intimate scenes between her character Tina McIntyre and Peter Barlow, played by Chris Gascoyne.
He told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "The chemistry between Tina and Peter is off the scale.
"I've watched some of the scenes that have just been shot and, man, do you need a cold shower afterwards. She is seriously sexy."
The brunette beauty has played the barmaid since 2007 and her exit will bring together a number of characters - including Peter's wife Carla Connor (Alison King) and her brother Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis), who is dating Tracy Barlow, portrayed by Kate Ford.
Stuart has offered an apology to Michelle after the decision was made to kill her off despite previously promising her exit would be done to allow her to return.
He said: "It was a very hard decision. I'd originally said the door would be left open for her return, so it's entirely my fault.
"Then, as happens sometimes at conference, a couple of the writers came up with a story and I just thought, 'Wow, it's not just a story about Tina, it's a story that can run for 12 months after she leaves the show'.
"It was irresistible. They don't get much bigger and I thought, 'Sorry Michelle'! But I had to do it."
