Michelle Keegan has secured her first role since leaving Coronation Street, in new BBC One drama Ordinary Lies.
The actress is to play a car showroom receptionist and will star alongside other stars including Sally Lindsay, Jason Manford, Jo Joyner, Max Beesley and Mackenzie Crook.
Michelle Keegan / Credit: WireImageThe six-part series is written by BAFTA-winning Danny Brocklehurst, and follows the everyday lives of staff at the firm owned of shifty car salesman.
The Sun newspaper was told by a source: "The characters are likeable but they don't always tell the truth. Some lies start off huge, others are tiny and grow.
"It shows what happens when the lies people tell to keep their heads above water spin out of control with sometimes tragic, sometimes funny consequences."
