Michelle Keegan would consider returning to 'Our Girl'.
Although Michelle, 34, who is married to former 'TOWIE' star Mark Wright, admitted she found it difficult to be away from home while shooting in South Africa, she would love to reprise her role of Georgie Lane in the BBC military drama in the future.
Speaking to chat show host Jonathan Ross, she said: "Yeah. The door's been left open for Georgie anyway, so I definitely would. Georgie's storyline with Elvis came to an end. It felt the right time for her to step back. But I would love to go back."
And she said she was most proud of her role in 'Our Girl' because of the sacrifices she made for the drama.
She explained: "I'd say 'Our Girl' just because I was away from home for a long time. One of the seasons I did I was living away for eight months. I was in Nepal, Malaysia, South Africa. I had a great time, I was lucky, but it was hard to be away from home.'
"It was really physically demanding. I think acclimatising was really hard. So hot and a lot of kit on, that was really hard. And the medical side, learning all the medical side of the job as well."
Michelle played the role of Georgie from series two to four of the drama, having taken oven from 'EastEnders' actress Lacey Turner, 33, who played the lead role of Molly Dawes in the first series.
'Our Girl' creator Tony Grounds previously opened up about the possibility of working with Michelle again.
He said: "With the finale of series four showing Georgie ready to move on with her life, it feels like the right time for us to do the same.
"Michelle and I are keen to continue our working relationship, and who knows, maybe we'll catch up with Georgie in the future. I wanted to say a big thank you to the fans of the show. It's been a joy to write."
