'Coronation Street' bosses are fuming after a stack of secret scripts were found lying in the street.

The soap was hit with another blunder this morning (16.08.13) after a walker - who wishes to remain anonymous - stumbled upon the pile of papers outside the ITV studios in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester, containing the plot for three major episodes to be screened next month.

He told The Sun newspaper: "I'm a big fan and flicked through them to see if anything massive was about to happen in Weatherfield.

"I know they're not military documents, but you'd think they might take better care of their plots."

He added: "Anyone could have tweeted what was going to happen in 'Corrie'. It would have spoiled it for millions of fans."

A 'Coronation Street' source said: "We will be looking into this. It's a bit embarrassing to say the least."

The mishap comes just 24 hours after Michelle Keegan - who plays Tina McIntyre in the show - caused outrage among fans after she uploaded a snap on Twitter of her co-star Jack P Shepherd, but somehow failed to realise that she'd caught two scripts in the shot as well.

The star deleted the photograph immediately but some eagle-eyed fans had already zoomed in to the lines and claim to be able to make out the dialogue, which gives away the paternity test involving Jack's character David Platt.
