Michelle Heaton has said she preferred the time spent with Liberty X on 'The Big Reunion' compared to when they started in the 2000s.
The singer of 34 years was reunited with former band-mates Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young earlier this year for the series which aired on ITV2 series.
'The Big Reunion' documented their comeback and featured them playing their greatest hits on a show tour, and the brunette beauty loved not having to worry about where their music would chart.
She said: "Getting back together with Liberty X has been awesome. I had such a great time on the tour in May.
"It was even better this time around performing without any stress, being a pop star and not worrying about releasing the next single and where it might chart. It was just care-free."
Michelle insists she never struggled to cope with the fame that came from being a pop star and thinks she has managed to stay grounded since become becoming a celebrity.
She added: "I think I've survived the whole celebrity thing so far. I hope I'm normal and that I haven't changed.
"I think my family would say that as well. As a person I haven't changed. So many people get caught up in celebrity.
"I mean, you saw 'The Big Reunion' and what a lot of the people went through with such dark times and I never had those massive dark times.
"I think it's because I just enjoyed being a pop star. It's the best job in the world. What's not to love?"
As well as being busy on 'The Big Reunion', Michelle has found time to front a new campaign for Zumba Fitness entitled 'Party in Pink'.
The campaign is raising money for the Zumba Global Research Grant for the Prevention of Breast Cancer and funds raised throughout October will go towards the Zumba Global Research Grant, which funds research into breast cancer prevention.
