Michelle Hardwick ramps up security after death threats
The 'Emmerdale' actress - who plays Vanessa Woodfield in the ITV soap - took to her Instagram Stories to praise a local security solutions firm for doing a "fabulous job".
She wrote: "Just wanted to say what fantastic service we have had from the very first phone call to the end result.
"Anyone local to the Leeds/Wakefield area who needs security solutions then look no further than @msc.security.solutions.
"(This was a fully paid for job, not a paid ad. I just wanted to post because they were fabulous."
This comes after Michelle - who lives with her wife, 'Emmerdale' producer Kate Brooks, and their two-year-old son Teddy - revealed in May she has called the police at times after receiving death threats.
The star - who is expecting the couple's second child - said at the time: "We’ve had a bit of trolling over the last few years. And there have been certain times when police have had to be called because there have been death threats.
"When they’re mentioning your son’s name and you’re just going ‘Really? I’m just in a soap you know - we’re not doing any harm to anybody.' "
Kate admitted the couple have seen a "real dark side" to social media.
She said: "The majority of people are really wonderful and supportive, but, you know, as great as social media can be, there is this real dark side to it as well."
The couple revealed in July that they are expecting their second child together.
Michelle shared an adorable snap of Teddy with the news on a screen behind him reading: "Coming this winter... baby Brooks #2."
She captioned the Instagram post: "We are super excited about our gorgeous news! I’m 20 weeks today and can almost rest a cup of tea on my bump #bigbrother."
