Michelle Gomez is returning as Missy for a third 'Doctor Who' spin-off series.
The 54-year-old actress - who first played the female version of the Master during Peter Capaldi's time on the BBC sci-fi show - will be back for a new three-part audio drama from Big Finish titled 'Missy and the Monk'.
The series will also star Rufus Hound as the Meddling Monk as the characters are forced into an unlikely partnership as they have to learn to work together to fly the TARDIS.
By the end of 'Missy and the Monk', the pair cross paths with a Meddling Nun played by Gemma Whelan.
The series - which includes episodes 'Body and Soulless', 'War Seed' and 'Two Monks, One Mistress' - is available to pre-order now ahead of its release next month.
Meanwhile, Michelle previously admitted she'd love to return to the live action show itself, and she insisted the door is never closed as far as she's concerned.
She said: "Oh no, no, it's not. It's never a closed chapter as far as 'Doctor Who' is concerned."
And although the programme has entered a whole new era since she left alongside Capaldi and then-showrunner Steven Moffat, she would still "love" to make a comeback.
She added: "I would love to, at some point, pop back up again.
"That's a firm, 'Yes, I am available'. Well, I'm not actually [laughs]. Not right now. But I will be. I will be!"
She'll have a new showrunner to pitch a comeback to next year, with Chris Chibnall stepping down alongside current Doctor Jodie Whittaker in 2022.
He previously said: "Jodie and I made a 'three series and out' pact with each other at the start of this once-in-a-lifetime blast. So now our shift is done, and we’re handing back the Tardis keys. Jodie’s magnificent, iconic Doctor has exceeded all our high expectations."
