Michelle Dockery doesn't "give a sh*t" whether or not people like her.
The 31-year-old actress - who plays Lady Mary Crawley in 'Downton Abbey' - admits that her outlook on life changed when she hit 30 last year and she's learnt to ignore people's judgemental opinions.
She said: "In my 20s I was a bit of a worrier; it bothered me what people thought of me, what job I was doing. But, the day I hit 30 I didn't give a s**t any more."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty credits the ITV period drama for allowing her to settle down in life because it offers her a "sense of security" that she didn't have before signing up for the show.
Speaking to Instyle magazine, she explained: "It's a very solid and successful job; it just gives you that sense of security, I guess. I mean, I own a flat now.
"I worked out I moved 16 times from the age of 19, just hopping about from different flats, because I couldn't always afford to stay. It's lovely to feel stability."
Meanwhile, 'Downton Abbey' will grace screens on Christmas day (25.12.13) with a two-hour special, which will see the family and servants head to their London residence Grantham house for the summer.
