Michelle Dockery had a tear in her eye when she read the final page of the last ever 'Downton Abbey' script.

The 34-year-old actress - who plays Lady Mary Crawley in the ITV programme - was riddled with emotion when she read the ending to the hit period drama a few weeks ago.
Asked if she's read the script for the finale yet, Michelle said: "I have, yeah. It bought a tear to my eye. It's really beautiful."
And it seems the finale will have a similar "tearjerking" effect on the audience when it hits screens on Christmas Day (25.12.15) as Jim Carter - who portrays Mr Carson - has advised fans to have a box of tissues at the ready.
Speaking to Richard Arnold on 'Good Morning Britain,' he said: "Not only are we saying goodbye to each other as actors but we're also saying goodbye to the characters and I think the audience should have a box of Kleenex handy."
Meanwhile, as fans gear up to shed tears for the last ever episode, executive producer Gareth Neame is also in mourning as he believes the show still had life left in it.
He told Deadline: "We easily could have gone for a seventh season. Nobody regrets ending when we did.
"We have a final season that's as strong as the first because we quit while we were ahead -- we had the ambition that we had a complete show."
Meanwhile, producers have teased that the last ever episode will offer all the love and loss, happiness and heartbreak that fans of the show have come to expect, as the family and servants prepare to bring in the year 1926 as they celebrate an unforgettable New Year's Eve together.
