Michelle Collins is "terrified at the thought" of returning to the stage when theatres open again.

The former 'EastEnders' actress admitted she feels "very sick" and nervous when she is preparing to tread the boards in a production, and is anxious about making a theatre return.
She wrote on Instagram: "I do feel very #sick #nervous when I m about to go on stage in fact I m pretty terrified at the thought of stepping back in the #theatre (sic)"
Michelle - who played Cindy Beale in the BBC One soap - also shared a quote from late acting legend Ava Gardner.
It read: "The only time I'm happy is when I'm doing absolutely nothing. When I work I vomit all the time. I know nothing about acting so I have one rule - trust the director and give him heart and soul. And nothing else."
Michelle, who also shared a quote from Angela Lansbury about the battle "against you by yourself is endless", wrote: "I think I m more #avagardner (sic)"
The former 'Coronation Street' actress also shared the post on Twitter, and one of her followers wrote: "The hardest part for any actor is the battle against self critique. You’ve achieved so much, and will continue to do so."
She replied: "Believe me I beat myself up every day ! (sic)"
Last May, Michelle admitted she feared young actors might leave the theatre industry due to the first coronavirus lockdown.
She explained: "It's a misconception that everyone thinks they all live in huge houses, they all drive round in their flash cars ... and, you know, they don't. Gone are those days, sadly.
"This is the UK, this isn't Hollywood. And I've done a lot of plays in London, working with a lot of young actors who are doing the shows at night and they're working in the day to supplement their income. They work in hospitality, and now there is no hospitality.
"We're hearing every day that another theatre is closing down, another theatre is struggling. My agent told me that in the theatre, things aren't going to get back to normal until next spring."
