The former 'EastEnders' actress admitted she is excited about some of England's coronavirus restrictions easing on Monday (12.04.21), such as non-essential shops opening, but she is feeling "strange" before her second jab.

Michelle wrote on Twitter: "Have felt very lethargic this week , strange , something in the air ? Looking forward to things opening up but also a feeling of nervousness , waiting for  2 nd jab , anyone else feeling like this ? (sic)"

The 59-year-old star - who played Cindy Beale on the BBC One soap - recently admitted she is "terrified at the thought" of returning to the stage when theatres open again.

She wrote on Instagram: "I do feel very #sick #nervous when I m about to go on stage in fact I m pretty terrified at the thought of stepping back in the #theatre (sic)"

Last May, the former 'Coronation Street' actress - who portrayed Stella Price on the ITV soap - admitted she feared young actors might leave the theatre industry due to the first coronavirus lockdown.

She explained: "It's a misconception that everyone thinks they all live in huge houses, they all drive round in their flash cars ... and, you know, they don't. Gone are those days, sadly.

"This is the UK, this isn't Hollywood. And I've done a lot of plays in London, working with a lot of young actors who are doing the shows at night and they're working in the day to supplement their income. They work in hospitality, and now there is no hospitality.

"We're hearing every day that another theatre is closing down, another theatre is struggling. My agent told me that in the theatre, things aren't going to get back to normal until next spring."
