Michelle Collins nearly missed filming on a "very popular" BBC show today (18.11.20) when she got her dates mixed up.
The former 'EastEnders' actress was caring for her mum and having a spot of breakfast while perusing the day's newspapers when she was shocked to receive a text saying a taxi was outside her house ready to take her to the studios, resulting in the 59-year-old star getting ready in her "quickest ever" time.
She wrote on Instagram: "Well I thought this #filming was Thursday , so today weds caring for my mum #breakfast #chatting #paper then my cab texts me he’s outside my house !!! Anyway got ready in less than 20 mins ! quickest ever , out of the door ! #makeup #hair (sic)"
Michelle is hopeful she "did OK" on the unnamed show, and admitted that despite the coronavirus pandemic, she felt "very safe" on the programme.
She said: "I did ok though I think ?
"Thanks @bbc felt very #safe #sociallydistanced #fabday #gratitude #savethearts (sic)"
Despite the quick dash, Michelle appeared to come across well during filming.
One of her followers, Duncan Smith, wrote: "Did more than ok Michelle (sic)"
Michelle teased her appearance on the programme earlier this week, even telling fans then she thought filming was on Thursday.
She wrote: "Due to covid rules I m doing a very popular show on Thursday @bbc but I have to do my own makeup #smokyeye #nudelips #help ! (sic)"
