Michelle Collins thinks Coronation Street's Stella Price will be "tipped over the edge" if she finds out the truth about the Rovers Return fire.
The 51-year-old actress - who portrays the lovely landlady in the ITV soap - is concerned her alter-ego will be badly affected if she finds out her twisted firestarter fiance Karl Munro (John Michie) is responsible for creating the blaze, and killing his former fling Sunita Alahan (Shobna Gulati).
She said: "I am interested to find out how it is going to happen and when.
"Out of all the things that have happened the affair was bad but to find out somebody that you are madly in love with and you have finally forgive them and got back with them has done what he has done is going to be devastating for her.
"It could tip her over the edge and it will be great to see how she is going to come back from that."
While Michelle is keen for "silly" Stella to ditch Karl, she is excited to see what the future holds for her character if they end up tying the knot.
She added to Soap Squawk: "When he proposed she said it just wasn't the right time, it wasn't that she didn't want to marry him.
"They had no money it looked like she was going to lose the pub. Before she even thinks about a wedding they have got to sort their life out. But now that things have been sorted out and [Stella's mother] Gloria [Sue Johnston] has come up trumps she decides that she does want to marry him. Silly woman!"
