Michael Greco and his girlfriend are expecting a baby boy.
The former 'EastEnders actor - who portrayed Beppe di Marco in the BBC One soap from 1998 to 2002 - told fans in February that he and Helen Harris are to welcome their first child into the world, and the 50-year-old star has revealed the couple are to have a son.
Michael produced a pair of blue socks during an appearance on 'Loose Women', and said: "I’m a traditionalist about colour.
"I know some people aren’t. I’m Italian, I’m old fashioned, I’m a traditionalist."
Michael had earlier admitted he would be up for returning to 'EastEnders' as a gym owner.
He said: "Most people who watch 'EastEnders', I think, are in their older years.
"Because they've been watching it since they were children.
"So for Beppe to go back - fantastic.
"If they want him to go back then I'm available.
"So we shall see."
It comes as viewers have seen in recent episodes that Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) has purchased late character Ronnie Mitchell's (Sam Womack) old boxing club and gym.
Away from Albert Square, Michael revealed in February that while he usually keeps his private life to himself, he wanted to "tell the world" about his baby news.
He wrote on Instagram: "Baby Greco First time daddy at 51! Probably the greatest post I’ve ever shared. Cant explain how emotional it was for me to be told that I am to be a father for the very first time, with my absolute soul mate.
"I’m normally a very private person but I couldn’t help reveal my utter joy and I just want to tell the world! In these devastating times that we are all facing right now, this is the best news I could ever dream of. My heart is full and I love you more than life itself Baby G. Xxx (sic)"
