Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc's chat show has been axed.
ITV has cancelled 'Mel & Sue' after just one season due to disappointing figures although the 'Great British Bake Off' presenters are reportedly in talks with the channel about other projects.
A source told The Sun: "ITV was really keen for the show to work but it just wasn't to be.
"Bosses are still keen to do more with Mel and Sue in the future though."
An ITV spokeswoman said: "Mel and Sue are great talents and we hope to work with them on other projects in the future."
'Mel & Sue' featured a mix of celebrity interviews and cooking segments but only attracted about 750,000 viewers after it was launched in January, sometimes over one million less than its rivals 'Antiques Road Trip' and 'Escape To The Country'.
The first season ended in mid-February.
Meanwhile, Sue was tipped for the 'Top Gear' presenting job after Jeremy Clarkson was sacked and had to quit Twitter after trolls reacted badly.
At the time, Sue said that some of the threats she had received included one who "suggested they'd like to see [her] burn to death", while her timeline was also "full of blokes wishing [her] dead".
Chris Evans has since taken on the role of presenter.
