Mel B's daughters poke fun at her British accent.
The 'Lip Sync Battle UK' host, 40 - who was born in Leeds but has spent the best part of the last two decades in the US - has admitted her girls Phoenix, 16, Angel, eight, and Madison, four, mock the way she speaks because they were raised in California and talk with an American accent.
Speaking on 'This Morning', she said: "All three of my daughters have American accents and in fact, they take the mick out of me. They're like, 'Mom, why are you saying, "Put it in the boot?" They take the mick out of my accent."
However, despite spending most of her career stateside, the brunette beauty says she will always identify herself as British because she's regularly hopping over here for work.
She explained: "I'm northern, from Leeds, but I go back and forward so much to the UK that I don't actually get to fully miss it because I'm always there working."
For now, though, the former Spice Girls singer is residing in London for her hosting gig on the new hilarious musical comedy 'Lip Sync Battle UK' - the British version of the US spin-off - and is desperate to have a go at miming herself.
Asked who she wants to go head-to-head with on the show, she said: "Me and [my former bandmate] Mel C used to lip sync battle and sometimes she would win and sometimes I would win but, in my head, I'm always the winner."
'Lip Sync Battle UK' kicks off tonight (08.01.16) at 10pm on Channel 5 as Alesha Dixon and David Walliams attempt to mime a series of smash hits from various decades.
