Mel C is fuming at Matt Cardle being left out of a video promoting the new series of 'The X Factor'.
The 'When We Collide' singer - who won the TV talent show in 2010 - has been snubbed in a new clip featuring the likes of One Direction, JLS, Cher Lloyd and Little Mix, and the former Spice Girl has praised him as one of the contest's "best winners".
She told the Sunday People newspaper: "I think it's really f***ing rude the way they have left him out.
"He was such a great winner and he's gone on to do brilliant things. Matt's possibly one of the best winners on the show."
Matt - whose duet with Mel, called 'Loving You', is released today (18.08.13) - insisted he wasn't surprised he was cut from the video.
The 30-year-old rocker left Simon Cowell's Sony label Columbia Records following his first album and is now an independent artist.
He said: "I wasn't miffed at all. I expected to be cut from the mash-up video right from the start.
"I'm currently finishing my third album in less than three year and I love what I do."
Even with his quick turnover, Mel has predicted big his career will be blessed with a "longevity" not often enjoyed by past 'X Factor' contestants.
She added: "With the musicality and the talent, he has longevity ahead.
"And let's face it, that doesn't fall into the life of many 'X Factor' winners.
"Matt know what he wants musically in the studio, he writes and produces and it stands him in good stead in the industry for the future."
