Mel B was never "bothered" by her celebrity status.
The 'Lip Sync Battle UK' - who was catapulted to international fame in the 90s as part of girl group, the Spice Girls - insists she never "noticed" her status but admits it is different for celebrities now because of social media.
She said: "It didn't bother me; I was having such a laugh. I didn't really notice it. It was a different time back then. There was no social media and we had a ball. I was with my four best mates on stage, singing and dancing. What's not to like?
"I was so lucky to be surrounded by my best friends. We went out for dinner the other night. We always intended to go on and do our own thing and I got married and had a baby so that was it for me."
The 'Wannabe' hitmakers have been rumoured to be going on a tour to mark their 20th anniversary and whilst Mel is "up for it", she's not sure how the others are feeling about a possible on-stage reunion.
She told The Times newspaper: "Getting back on stage? Of course I'm up for it. I don't know if anyone else is though, so maybe that's just me. I think I'm the source of the rumour ... I love it; I really want to go on tour. I had an amazing time. I travelled the world and I'm thankful for it."
