Megan McKenna has written a Christmas song.

The 29-year-old star - who shot to fame on reality TV shows - has revealed via Twitter that she's written and recorded her own festive-themed song.
Alongside a throwback Christmas photo and a teaser of her new single, Megan wrote on the micro-blogging platform: "I can’t believe it, I’ve written my first Christmas song & here’s a preview…
"If your Christmas is anything like mine? The mess ups are what make It so special [laughing and Christmas tree emojis] Pre - Save & comment below what you think… #familyatchristmas [heart emoji] (sic)"
Megan has already received some positive feedback on the track from her social media followers.
One Twitter user replied: "It will be added to my iTunes on 19 November. Thanks Megan - and good luck! X (sic)"
Another fan replied: "I loveeeeeee [heart emojis] (sic)"
Megan previously opened up about her deep-rooted love of country music.
The singer explained how her initial interest in the genre was sparked by her mum.
Asked about her love of country music, Megan shared: "My mum did like quite a bit of country music like Dolly Parton and Martina McBride but it was when I kept going to musical theatre auditions when I was younger and I kept being told I sounded really country so that’s when I really started listening to country music and started to love it."
Megan also hopes that she can connect a younger audience with country music.
The singer - who previously appeared on 'Ex on the Beach' and 'The Only Way Is Essex' - said: "I hope I’m helping bring my music to a different audience like - younger fan base and the reality TV fans who might not have listened to country music before…"
