Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks have got back together for the sake of 'The Only Way is Essex'.
The turbulent couple - who split up in the last series following a series of blazing rows - jetted off to Las Vegas last week in order to work through their differences and see if they can give their romance another go because they think their problems stem from the strain they're under in front of the cameras.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the couple's friend Jamie Reed said: "They're back together.
"They are one of the couples that are always on and off and that's the way a lot of couples are. They're giving it a go for the sake of the show. 'The Only Way Is Essex' puts such a strain on relationships some people go backwards and not forwards."
Pete, 28, and Megan, 24, began dating at the beginning of last year but their relationship hit the rocks in the summer when it emerged that the hunk had cheated on her with a number of different girls.
Since then, their romance has been comprised of tears, tantrums, make ups and break ups but the heavily-inked hunk is adamant he's always care for the brunette beauty and always will.
He said recently: "Megan and I didn't split up because we didn't care about each other - it just wasn't working at the time. It wasn't the most straight-forward relationship, it was really up and down and it took an emotional toll on both of us. It's the right thing that we're broken up right now."
And even after they decided to go their separate ways, Pete didn't want to date anyone else.
He explained: "Me and Megan haven't been together now for a couple of months, but it still feels fresh. I have absolutely no interest in seeing other people and Megan feels the same as far as I'm aware."
