Travelling to the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre in Borneo, Paul O'Grady is back tonight (April 14) with the first of two new editions of Paul O'Grady's Animal Orphans.

Here he spends two weeks and meets endangered and wild animals, encountering orangutans, sun bears, gibbons, slow lorises and turtles, with most of the animals orphaned because of humans.
Whether their natural habitat has been destroyed or invaded, or their parents have been killed by poachers, Paul gets hands on with the staff in Borneo to help care for and rehabilitate the animals, preparing them for the future before sending them back out into the wild.
Meeting Sue Sheward who runs Orangutan Appeal UK, Paul's introduced to the three youngest orangutan babies at the Rehabilitation Centre - Ospie, Koko and Archie, discovering how the animals are under threat because of forest fires.
He's also introduced to gorgeous eight-month old orphaned gibbon baby, Peeka, who's having some trouble picking up a gibbon's most basic skill - climbing a tree.
