Max George has suffered a wrist injury ahead of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ live show.
The 32-year-old singer was spotted wearing a support brace on his right hand after spraining his wrist at the gym a few weeks ago, but he is expected to be fine to compete on the BBC Latin and ballroom show.
An insider told The Sun Online: "Max sprained his wrist in the gym a few weeks ago, so it's just there for support while he trains."
It comes just days before the first live show on Saturday (24.10.20).
Max previously revealed he almost didn't get into boy band The Wanted - which included 2015 ‘Strictly’ winner Jay McGuinness - because of his bad dancing.
Asked if he was feeling the pressure to be as good as Jay, Max replied: "No not really, Jay was always a top dancer even when we started the band.
"I remember in the audition I nearly didn’t get in because of dancing so that’s been a problem for me for over a decade. In terms of that I wouldn’t say it’s pressure, I always look up to Jay in that. If he could give me any tips that would be great.”
Max is over the moon that he will be dancing alongside Caroline Quentin after he had a crush on her as a youngster.
He added: "I’m buzzing Caroline is here. Me and my brother used to have a big crush on her when we watched 'Men Behaving Badly', she is so cool.
"Unfortunately we’ve not been able to spend any proper time with each other, I’m sure everyone is amazing. Caroline is just class, I already feel less nervous because she’s here."
